Originally formed in the early 1980s, Lesser Mortals is a Colorado-based rock group with a unique history that spans over a quarter century. Formally known as Once, the band has a penchant for writing their own fire brand of original music.

Band members include guitarist Dan Santistevan, Chuck Short lead guitar, drummer John Trivelli, Gregg Howson bass and lead vocalist Pete Zeigler. The band attributes its definitive sound to the vocals of Pete Zeigler who also shares his technical expertise as recording engineer and owner of CRK Studios in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Twenty five years removed, the band regrouped in 2005 and began recording material resulting into their full-length self-released CD entitled, Edge of Tomorrow, on Major Laser Records.
