TuneCore Statement on Derek Chauvin Trial Verdict

Yesterday’s guilty verdict in the Derek Chauvin case spoke volumes in the pursuit of justice and equity in this country. No verdict can bring George Floyd back to the world, but this decision says that his life mattered. We hope his family and loved ones can find some comfort and relief in this conviction.

As a society, we have a lot of work to do. As a company, we will always stand against hatred and violence in past, present, and future and we will continue to use our platform and our voices to pursue all levels of equity and equality. Knowing that our voices, collectively, are being heard, may that inspire us all to keep talking, to keep communicating, and keep creating, in order to move forward together.
