How do I opt into TuneCore Accelerator?
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you’ll automatically be opted into TuneCore Accelerator. If you change your mind and you’d like to opt out, you can do so at any time right from your TuneCore dashboard.
What are the eligibility criteria?
You must be signed up for one of TuneCore’s paid distribution plans and distribute music on digital stores to take advantage of TuneCore Accelerator.
How much does TuneCore Accelerator cost?
Your opt-in to TuneCore Accelerator comes at no additional cost.
For streams generated through TuneCore Accelerator (and generated through TuneCore Accelerator alone), a 20% commission will be applied to those streams' net royalties during the period they are included and promoted in Accelerator programs (not on all net royalties the tracks are getting on each platform where they are included in a campaign).
You will not pay any commission on streams which aren’t obtained through TuneCore Accelerator. You will continue to keep 100% of revenue for streams not generated through TuneCore Accelerator, even on the tracks that are included in campaigns.
TuneCore takes commissions:
- only on tracks activated
- only in the period when they are activated
- only on the platforms where they are activated in campaigns and even on those platforms...
- only on the portion of the streams that are coming from the actual campaigns not the rest of the streams received on those platforms
