TuneCore & Disc Makers “Cut & Press Contest 2025” – Official Rules
These rules (the “Rules”) pertain to and shall govern the terms of participation in the TuneCore & Disc Makers “Cut & Press Contest 2025” (the “Contest”). By participating in the Contest, each participant in the Contest (each a “Participant”) irrevocably and unconditionally accepts the same and agrees to be bound by all of the conditions contained herein.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. MULTIPLE ENTRIES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

Contest Entities: TuneCore, Disc Makers
3. WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER (hereafter “Eligible Participant(s)” or “Entrant(s)”):
a. Eligible Participants must be a current TuneCore client and be in “good standing,” as defined by TuneCore. This includes, but is not limited to, the following conditions: (i) Entrant(s) must have no reports of fraudulent activity associated with their TuneCore account; (ii) Entrant(s) must have no designations of suspicious or fraudulent activity via TuneCore's Digital Service Providers (“DSP”) partner platforms; and (iii) Entrant(s) must have no active disputes regarding the ownership of their TuneCore account. TuneCore reserves the sole right to determine whether the Entrant(s)’s account satisfies these conditions.
b. Entrant(s) must have distributed at least one (1) recording through the TuneCore distribution platform between January 1, 2007, and July 16, 2025, and must be currently available for stream or purchase on at least one (1) of TuneCore’s DSP partner platforms.
c. Eligible Participants must enter the Contest as described below and answer/fill out all required information in the application form.
d. Eligible Participants must be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia and must be 18 years of age or older (for the avoidance of doubt, all members of a musical group must be legal residents of the United States and 18 years of age or older). Employees of Contest Entities and members of such employee’s immediate families are not eligible. Void in the United States territories and where prohibited by law.
4. HOW TO ENTER:
Eligible Participants may enter the Contest by agreeing to the terms of these Rules and following the instructions located at the following URL: http://tunecore.com/cut-and-press-contest-terms (the “URL”). A winner of the contest will be chosen from eligible and approved entries.
Entry Period: Entries must be submitted on or after July 16 2025, and no later than 11:59:59pm ET July 30, 2025 (the “Entry Period”).
Only one (1) entry per Eligible Participant may be submitted.
Any attempt by any Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different addresses, accounts, identities, registrations, and logins, or any other methods, including an automated system, will void that Entrant’s entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Each potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized TuneCore account holder. Ilegible and/or incomplete entries and entries submitted by Entrant(s) who do not meet the eligibility requirements (including all requirements with respect to age and residence) are void. TuneCore is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries; for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind; for lost or unavailable network connections; or for failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions or any human error that may occur in the receipt or processing of the entries. Proof of entering information on the website does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt. TuneCore reserves the right to modify the scheduling of the Contest without prior notification. Use of computer programs, macros, programmed, robotic, automatic, and other similar means to enter the Contest is prohibited and may result in the disqualification of the Entrant(s). In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered on the date the entry is submitted. TuneCore shall have the right to determine the identity of a potential Winner in its sole discretion.
5. HOW THE WINNER IS SELECTED AND NOTIFIED:
One (1) contest potential winner (the “Winner”) will be selected by a jury composed of representatives of Contest Entities (collectively, the “Jury”) from all eligible entrants based on feedback from Jury members using their expertise in the music industry. The decision of the Jury will be made in its sole discretion and will be final relating to the Contest.
The Winner will be notified via email, using the contact information provided at the time of entry, following the conclusion of the Entry Period, but no later than August 4, 2025 (“Contest Notification”). Winner shall have seven (7) days from the date of TuneCore’s email notification to respond to TuneCore at the address on the notification with an email accepting the Prize (“Deadline”). Such response shall include providing and/or confirming his/her full name and a mailing address ("Mailing Information"). The mailing address must include a street address (no P.O. Boxes). If the Winner does not provide the Mailing Information in response to the Contest Notification by the Deadline, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate Winner will be selected from all eligible entries received for the original contest. TuneCore will attempt to award the prize to an alternate Winner, until a Winner is named. TuneCore shall repeat the Winner selection and notification procedures set forth in this Section, until a qualified Winner has been selected. TuneCore shall not be responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification or make a response to it for any reason, including inactive account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or the Winner’s failure to adequately monitor the email account. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable or any other non-response within seven (7) days of notice will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate potential winner from all remaining Eligible Participants.
6. THE PRIZE (the “Prize”):
a. The Winner will receive the following Prize at no cost to the Winner:
Disc Makers One Hundred (100) vinyl records in jackets
One Hundred (100) standard black vinyl records
Full-color or black & white LP labels
Unprinted inner sleeves
Full-color jacket w/spine, and shrink-wrapping.
b. Approximate Retail Value of the prizes: Nine Hundred Ninety-Nine Dollars and Ninety-Nine Cents ($999.00).
c. No more than one (1) prize will be awarded.
d. All Entrant(s) receive a Twenty-Five Dollar ($25) coupon to be used toward any Vinyl order via Disc Makers.
7. DISCLAIMER AND RELEASE
TuneCore will not be responsible for any costs to the Winner involved or implicated in Winner’s claiming of the Prize (including but not limited to travel, accommodations, food, incidentals, equipment, internet access, etc.). All applicable taxes, including all federal, state, local, and other taxes, and any license and destination charges, are the sole responsibility of the Winner. The Winner is advised to seek counsel regarding tax liabilities associated with the Prize. Furthermore, TuneCore will not be responsible for obtaining any third-party permissions or licenses or making any agreements with or any payments to any third parties of any kind.
8. ADDITIONAL CONTEST TERMS:
Decisions of the Contest Entities are final on all matters relating to this Contest. By entering, Entrant(s) agree to the use of their name, biographical information and photograph/likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised (including and without limitation, social media) without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Upon request by TuneCore, the Winner will consent to such in writing and may be asked to sign a release form.
Any information collected from Contest entrants will be used to enter the entrant into the Contest, and may be provided to Contest Entities who may notify the Winner, and may be used in any other manner as may be set forth in these Rules or in the TuneCore terms and conditions and privacy policy.
No transfers, substitutions in prize or cash will be allowed except by TuneCore, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The prize is awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) by Contest Entities.
By entering and/or by accepting the prize, Entrant(s) or the Winner agrees to be bound by these Rules and to release and hold harmless Contest Entities, all their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, employees and assigns from any and all liability arising out of their participation in this Contest including, without limitation, with respect to the awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of any prize or cancellation of the Contest. The Winner participates in the use of the prize with knowledge of the danger involved and agrees to accept any and all risks of death, serious illness, injury, and property damage.
TuneCore reserves the right to disqualify and prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law any Entrant(s) who, in TuneCore’s reasonable suspicion, tampers with the TuneCore site, the entry process, intentionally submits more than a single entry, violates these rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
Liability for any applicable taxes and any other expenses not specifically provided for by TuneCore in these Rules are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
Entries that are lost, late, illegible, or incomplete for any reason will not be eligible. TuneCore reserves the right to modify or terminate this Contest or disqualify any entry for any reason. In the event of early termination, the Jury will select the Winner from all eligible entries received at the time of termination. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered, or the authorized account holder associated with the email account.
This Contest is subject to federal, state and local laws with venue in New York County in the State of New York, United States of America and except where prohibited, Entrant(s) agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court in the State of New York. The remedy for any claim will be limited to actual damages, and in no event will any party be entitled to recover punitive, exemplary, consequential, or incidental damages, including attorney’s fees or other such related costs of bringing a claim, or to rescind this agreement or seek injunctive or any other equitable relief. By entering, Entrant(s) agree to be bound by the TuneCore terms of use and privacy policy and give their express permission to be contacted by Contest Entities by e-mail in the future. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any other entity other than the Contest Entities. By entering, Entrant(s) acknowledge and warrant that they understand that they are providing their information to the Contest Entities. Entrant(s) agree to have their full Contest registration information shared with TuneCore and Disc Makers for marketing purposes, which shall include, but not be limited to, newsletters, special offers, and brand communications.
If Entrant(s) has any further inquiries about the Contest or if Entrant(s) does not wish to be contacted for purposes other than prize notification, Entrant(s) should please follow the opt-out instructions provided in any such communication or email contests@tunecore.com and ask that they be removed.
For the name of the Winner, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope after the Entry Period to TuneCore at the address below.
