The Tunecore Grant 2025

TuneCore (“Promoter”) is conducting a music talent search as described herein (the “TuneCore Grant 2025”). The Promoter is an independent digital music distribution and music publishing company providing services to users through the website https://www.tunecore.in/ (the “Website”). Persons interested in being considered for the TuneCore Grant 2025 (herein referred to as “Applicant” or “Applicants”) agree to the following terms governing their submission of entries for the TuneCore Grant 2025..

1. General. These terms, along with the terms and conditions located on Promoter’s Website shall be collectively referred to herein as the “Terms and Conditions”. The Promoter reserves the right to change or modify the Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion at any time and without any prior notice. Any revision of these Terms and Conditions will be updated on the landing page for the submission of entries for the TuneCore Grant 2025. Applicants agree that by choosing to participate in the TuneCore Grant 2025, Applicants are regarded as having agreed, understood and accepted the Grant Terms and Conditions including any revised terms. One (1) Applicant will receive the TuneCore Grant 2025. The Promoter will either select the Applicant to be awarded the TuneCore Grant 2025 or assign the decision to a person or persons appointed by the Promoter in the Promoter's sole discretion. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, Promoter shall have complete discretion over the operation and conduct of the TuneCore Grant 2025 and the recipient selection process. The TuneCore Grant 2025 is conducted/organized by the Promoter through https://www.instagram.com/tunecore.ind/ and the Website (collectively, the “Platform”).

2. Eligibility. Applicant must meet all the following eligibility requirements:

1. Applicant must be eighteen (18) years or older on the date of that Applicant’s submission of an entry for the TuneCore Grant 2025 and must be an Indian citizen residing in India and possessing an Indian bank account.

2. Applicants may make only one (1) Official Entry as defined herein.

3. Entries for the TuneCore Grant 2025 must be submitted via the Platform between 10th April 2025 and 30th April 2025 including the opening and closing date respectively. Announcement of the recipient of the TuneCore Grant 2025 will be released on the Platform on a date after 5th May, 2025.

4. At the time of making an entry, Applicant must have a TuneCore account with an active distribution plan. If Applicant does not have an account with an active distribution plan and wishes to be eligible for the TuneCore Grant 2025, Applicant may create an account and subscribe to either the free or paid plan as described at https://www.tunecore.in/pricing subject to the terms therein.

5. By submitting an entry, Applicant confirms that Applicant meets the eligibility requirements necessary to submit the entry as described herein and is not disqualified by any applicable laws. Promoter may require Applicant to provide proof that Applicant is eligible to enter the TuneCore Grant 2025. If Applicant fails to provide Promoter with such proof and/or other information requested by Promoter within a reasonable time (such period to be determined solely by Promoter), Applicant may be disqualified for the TuneCore Grant 2025.

6. Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify Applicant if Applicant’s conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the TuneCore Grant 2025.

7. An entry will be declared void if Applicant is in any way involved in any:

8. form of fraud (actual or apparent), including copyright infringement;

9. fraudulent misrepresentation;

10. fraudulent concealment;

11. hacking or interference with the proper functioning of the Platform; or

12. amending, or unauthorized use of, any of the code that constitutes the Platform

3. Entry Submission. To register and submit an Official Entry for the TuneCore Grant 2025:

1. Applicant must submit an entry between 10th April, 2025 and 30th April, 2025. Applicants must submit the following information through the application form available on the TuneCore Grant 2025 Landing Page (the submission of the information detailed below as well as any materials or links as described or other information shall constitute Applicants “Official Entry” for the purposes of the TuneCore Grant 2025). Fields marked with * are mandatory. Any entry failing to include mandatory information will be deemed defective as an Official Entry and will be disqualified. The information Applicant provides in the TuneCore Grant 2025 registration shall be stored on the Promoter’s database and will be only used for the purposes of the TuneCore Grant 2025. At the conclusion of the TuneCore Grant 2025, the information will be deleted from the Promoter's database.

4. Audio links to 1 or 2 of Applicant’s other, older original recordings (No problem if the entered recording is Applicant’s first!)

8. 40-60 second video describing why Applicant deserves to receive the TuneCore Grant 2025.

4. TuneCore Grant 2025 Award.                   

1. Promoter will select one (1) Applicant who will receive the TuneCore Grant 2025 (“Grant Recipient”).

2. At its election and in its sole discretion, Promoter shall bring in a panel of industry experts who will consider the applications and select the Grant Recipient.

3. Criteria used by Promoter to assess the Applicants entries shall include, but is not limited to each Applicant’s:

i. Talent

ii. Community Engagement & Interaction

iii. Potential

1. Selection of the Grant Recipient shall be made in Promoter’s sole discretion and the judges appointed by Promoter, if any, subject to compliance with the Terms and Conditions herein and such decision shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained by the Promoter or the judges in this regard.

2. The Grant Recipient will receive a grant amount of INR 1,00,000 (Indian Rupees One Lakhs Only) (the “Grant Amount”) subject to the Grant Recipient's compliance with the Terms and Conditions.

5. Conditions of Grant Award.

1. Promoter shall make best efforts to provide the Grant Amount to the Grant Recipient on or before May 15th, 2025. 

2. Any and all taxes and/or levies related to the Grant Amount including but not limited to gift tax, charges, TDS, regulatory/statutory duties, cess, levies, insurance, transfer fees, registration fees, etc., applicable under the laws of India shall be borne solely by the Grant Recipient in relation to the Grant Amount.

3. The Grant Recipient will be required to sign a declaration in the format shared by the Promoter as a condition of receiving the Grant Amount stating in part that Grant Recipient warrants that the Grant Amount shall be one hundred percent (100%) utilized to fund the Project as described by Applicant in Applicant’s Official Entry.

4. The Grant Recipient acknowledges and agrees that they will not receive any compensation, benefits etc. of any kind, except as mentioned herein and will release the Promoter, its parents, employees, agents and assigns from any and all claims which may arise out of or are in any way connected with the TuneCore Grant 2025.

6. Warranties and Representations. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, the Applicant warrants and represents that:

1. Applicant meets all the eligibility criteria mentioned above in Section 2 and Applicant has the full right, power, and authority to agree to the TuneCore Grant 2025 Terms and Conditions.

2. If any Official Entry contains the Applicant’s original sound recording, such recording has not been previously distributed. It has not received any previous awards. It does not violate, misappropriate or otherwise infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, rights of publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity and Applicant has obtained written permission from any third party who appears/features in the Official Entry or whose name, image, likeness, voice or other proprietary right is used in the Official Entry, if any. 

3. The Applicant is not impersonating any other person or persons and the information provided by the Applicant as a condition of participation in the TuneCore Grant 2025 is true and correct to the best of Applicant’s knowledge.

4. Applicant will not enter the TuneCore Grant 2025 nor use the Platform if such entry/use interferes with any applicable laws and applicant will comply with all applicable laws that apply to the TuneCore Grant 2025 and to which Applicant is subject.

7. Limitation of Liability.

1. By participating in the TuneCore Grant 2025, all Applicants have waived their right to raise any dispute with regard to the Grant Amount and/or in any manner whatsoever in connection with the TuneCore Grant 2025.

2. In no event shall the Promoter be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages or any other damages resulting from the Grant Amount and/or in any manner whatsoever in connection with the TuneCore Grant 2025.

8. Miscellaneous Terms.

1. Applicant acknowledges that Promoter shall have the right to use any material or content submitted by the Applicant for the TuneCore Grant 2025 (including but not limited to Applicant’s recording(s), composition(s), name(s) and likenesse(s)) for promotional purposes without any consideration of any sort and/or money payable to the Applicant.

2. Promoter will not accept responsibility for the entries that are not successfully completed, or are delayed regardless of cause including, for example, timing, technical, or any other unforeseen difficulties beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter. 

3. Applicant understands and agrees that the Applicant is fully responsible for any information or materials the Applicant submits and that the Applicant, not the Promoter, has the responsibility for the legality, reliability, accuracy, and appropriateness of such information and materials. The Promoter is not responsible or liable to any third party for the content, accuracy, or appropriateness of any entry/information/materials posted by the Applicant on the Platform in relation to the TuneCore Grant 2025.

4. If Applicant does not accept these Terms and Conditions, Applicant shall not be permitted to make an Official Entry for theTuneCore Grant 2025 or be considered for the grant.

5. Submission of an Official Entry indicates the Applicant’s agreement to comply with and abide by the selection methods of the Promoter or the judges appointed by the Promoter for the TuneCore Grant 2025. Further, the adjudicated decisions will be considered final and legally binding.

6. Submission of an Official Entry indicates that the Applicant represents and warrants to have met the eligibility requirements set forth herein.

7. All costs of creation/submission of Applicant’s Official Entry shall be solely borne by the Applicant.

9. These Terms and Conditions shall be construed and governed by the laws of India. Applicant agrees to submit to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, India.
